Bridge Design at Fairford Leys in Aylesbury- Structural Consultancy Services Bettridge Turner and Partners were commissioned to design seven reinforced concrete road bridges for the new housing settlement at Fairford Leys near Aylesbury. These bridges span distances of between ten and thirty metres. This site is prone to flooding and these bridges were designed to allow the river flow to continue during periods of high water levels. Constructed from reinforced concrete, these bridges were then brick-faced to provide a pleasing appearance.
