Pedestrianisation at George Street in Hove

King Environmental were commissioned by Owen Williams Design & Property Services as subconsultants to prepare concept designs for the renewal of George Street, the main shopping street of Hove.

The scheme involved the design of a new arrangement for shared space, with pedestrian priority during a core period and servicing to shops at other times. King Environmental were asked to select suitable paving materials and street.

Paving works completed in 2001.
