Contaminated Land at Stema Aggregate Wharf in Northfleet- Remediation & Infrastructure Consultancy Services Bettridge Turner and Partners have planned and supervised a ground investigation for construction of a new access road across a former power station site. The ground was suspected of being contaminated with heavy fuel oil from an adjacent site. Intensive investigations and monitoring were carried out, the results of which showed that relatively minor amounts of oil were present. Bettridge Turner and Partners are negotiating with the Environment Agency to agree a remediation strategy for the land.
