Transport Assessment at Newbury Retail Park- Transportation Planning Services Bettridge Turner & Partners have prepared a Transport Assessment (TA) for an extension to Newbury Retail Park. Some 3,250 sq m (gross) of retail warehousing with associated car parking and service facilities are proposed to the south of Newbury Retail Park, on land for which BTP had previously assisted in obtaining planning consent for motor showrooms. Alterations are proposed to the layout of the existing retail park to allow access to the development site. After submitting the TA, BTP have resolved all technical transportation matters with West Berkshire Council in its capacity as Highway Authority. The Council has resolved to grant planning permission, subject to the developer entering into a Section 106 Agreement to include a Green Travel Plan.
