Transport Assessment in Maidstone- Transport Planning Services Bettridge Turner & Partners have prepared a Transport Assessment (TA) on behalf of the Cuckfield Group and Persimmon Homes, for the redevelopment of Kent County Council’s former headquarters at Maidstone. The redevelopment of the site will provide approximately 282,000 sq ft of office space and 118 flats, together with associated surface and multi-storey car parking, on-site servicing facilities and a pedestrian and cycle infrastructure. Alterations are proposed to the existing main site access and the closure and rationalisation of secondary accesses to provide environmental improvements to an adjoining residential area. After submitting the TA, BTP have resolved all technical transportation matters with the County Highway Authority and Local Planning Authority. The latter, Maidstone Borough Council, have resolved to grant planning permission subject to the developer entering into a Section 106 Agreement.
