Design and Construction

As experienced engineers, Bettridge Turner & Partners have all the complementary skills to offer clients a complete service. All our principals have been trained the traditional way and are able to act as Project Manager / Engineer.

At feasibility and design stages, our experience enables us to provide accurate project programmes and construction cost estimates to ensure tight fiscal control from the outset.

In addition, to the provision of design services we can advise on the most appropriate form of contract, prepare tender and contract documentation including bills of quantities. From our practical knowledge we have assisted clients and their legal advisors on the inclusion and drafting of clauses in legal agreements such as Section 106 and Section 278.

During construction, we can provide all aspects of contract administration and site supervision, both technical and commercial, to ensure the quality of construction and control of costs and programme. This would include the negotiation of new rates and agreement of monthly variations and the final account.
