Ed King, formerly of King Environmental - an environmental
consultancy servicing the development sector - is now a Consultant
to BT&P. He advises a wide range of clients, including
government departments and agencies, developers, lawyers,
planning consultants and architects, on all environmental
aspects of project planning, design and construction. Ed is
a Chartered Civil Engineer, Environmentalist and Landscape
Architect and is a Registered EIA Practitioner. He is a past
chair of the CIWEM Environment Group.
His main areas of expertise are in the project management of Environmental Impact Assessments, the preparation of Environmental Statements, Flood Risk Assessments and Landscape, Townscape and Visual Impact Assessments as part of the EIA process. He also advises on urban design and regeneration issues and has conducted environmental reviews of a number of major civil engineering projects
